Welcome!
I’m Katie, and I’m glad you’re here. I have lived in the highlands of Guatemala since 2006 when I started serving as a nurse in a rural clinic. These past years have held my most important adulthood events including marrying my favorite friend and becoming a mama to four beautiful children here on earth and two little ones that we wait to see again one day in Heaven. It is here that I have also experienced the never-ending love of a Father who chases us down no matter where we are found; the greatest gift ever given by a Savior who went to hell and back again to show his perfect love for each one of us; and the unbelievably close presence of a Comforter and Friend that never ever leaves our side.
I pray this will be a place where you too can find the encouragement you need to keep running back into the arms of the Father who sees your pain, comes to sit with you in it, and then brings about your own story of His great redemption and love. May you come to know Him in all His glory while He brings about His glory in and through YOU!
