We were created in and for a garden.

Eden.

Surrounded by valleys and mountains covered in rich growth… streams and meadows of continuous water… strong oaks and gentle orchids of strength and beauty.

Heaven.

It is here that we would live in unbroken connection with God, the master gardener. Here we would know His voice and His heart, walking and talking and tending to the life around us.

Communion.

And yet with one broken decision, everything changed… almost.

What did not change is our God.

Steadfast and True, He was not surprised or intimidated by our weakness and brokenness… our imperfections and struggle with sin. Even in His grief over the loss of perfect communion with us, He already had a plan in place to bring His children back Home… back to the Garden…

and to put the Garden in us.

You see He is, has always been, and will always be in the business of redemption.

So we journey as foreigners here on this earth, moving towards the day that we will once again know true, unbroken communion, completely free from the bondage of sin.

And yet with every step forward, our God continues to bring Eden to eden…

where Heaven meets the garden in us and around us

if we will only let Him do the work that only He can do.
